Mastering Emotional Intelligence for Leaders
What makes an effective leader?
The typical answer: smarts, hustle, an ivy-league education or being the most qualified.
But that's not true.
Today, being an effective leader means being self-aware and understanding both the verbal and non-verbal communication ques of your team.
And mastering these emotional intelligent skills will take your career and relationships to the next level.
That's why on Thursday, February 6, 2020 Women in Communications and Technology London (WCT) is hosting a one-hour workshop called: Mastering Emotional Intelligence for Leaders.
Founders of All Women L.E.A.D., Jennifer Slay and Melissa Maloney, will present a hands-on workshop to discuss the importance of developing strong self-awareness and self-management skills (two top components of emotional intelligence) that will support you in being an effective leader. Whether you play the role of mother, CEO, community leader or entrepreneur, your emotional intelligence will impact your ability to be productive, efficient, and most importantly, be effective.
In this hands-on workshop, you will build your emotional intelligence skills through:
- Understanding how to use your emotions as informants
- Developing strategies to create and execute an effective goal plan
- Learning strategies to enhance productivity and decrease the busy trap
Participants will also receive copies of a Goal Setting strategy and Energy Blocking Plan to set themselves up for a successful 2020.
