Women in Tech: Personalizing Your Career to Work for YOU
WCT and ITAC are pleased to present the latest event in the
Women in Leadership Series
Gone are the days where a career path was defined. Now it is up to you to set goals, find mentors and establish a path to reach those goals. Panelists will share how they discovered their careers and how working in tech has empowered them to get as close to having it all as possible. This event is designed to inspire you to carve a career that is right for you, and how taking control of your career can also give you the confidence you need to take the next step.
Here are three accomplished women from Cisco in three different stages of their career, and the decisions they have made to ensure their careers are fulfilling and match their goals.
Held on March 28th from 4:30 to 6:30 pm at Cisco's new Innovation Centre. Refreshments will be provided.
Three women in different areas of Cisco Canada share how this discovered their career paths and how it empowered them to reach new heights. Attendees can expect to hear:
- How each panelist discovered their career path
- What helped them get to where they are today?
- What kind of barriers did you have to over come?
- Is it luck? Or is it making sure you're in the right place at the right time?
After the panel there will be an opportunity to ask questions, as well as time for networking with other attendees. In attendance are leaders from Cisco as well as men and women from technology, telecommunications, media and communications companies in Toronto.
The conversation will be moderated by Fawn Annan, President and CMO of IT World Canada (and also Chairman at Canadian Channel Chiefs Council). Panelists include:
President, Cisco Canada
Regional Manager, Cisco
Virtual Systems Engineer
