WCT-NCR Season Closer Pink Market

Registration is closed for this event

WCT-NCR Pink Market: A market by women, for women.

WCT-NCR Pink Market - A market for women, by women

Come celebrate the end of our 2018-2019 season with an evening of networking and supporting local women owned businesses.

WCT-NCR is bringing together women entrepreneurs across a wide range of areas in self-care and career development to our first inaugural Pink Market: A market by women, for women.

The event will feature a series of women owned small businesses in the areas of beauty, retail and career advancement. Event guests and members can interact and learn more about both the offerings and how these successful small business owners got started.

Canadian women who start businesses are more likely to do so on their own and make 58% less than their male counterparts (source).

The colour pink is often associated with femininity. However, in the 18th century both genders wore the colours uniformly. In some cases, pink was even considered to be a masculine colour. Today, there is manufactured stigma around the colour and the WCT is helping to take it back.

Join us for an evening featuring women owned businesses while networking with the city's leading business women and men. Hor d'oeuvres and a complimentary beverage will be served.
