Mentoring is a high impact professional development strategy that serves to increase the mentee’s confidence, build leadership skills and ultimately support long term plans for career success. Mentors also benefit by enhancing their leadership skills, gaining new perspectives as well as professional and personal satisfaction.
WCT National Mentorship Program in partnership with Corus
This mentoring program focuses on leadership skills and professional development. WCT strives to create 1:1 partnerships that are customized to what a mentee wants to learn, develop and explore. Women and men from across all sectors of the communications and technology sectors comprise the mentor volunteers.
The program runs for one year and requires a minimum of four meetings per year, the details of which are worked out by the mentor and mentee. It is the mentee’s responsibility to work with the mentor, set up meetings and conduct appropriate follow up.
The deadline to apply is December 11, 2020.

Applying To Be Matched With A Mentor
To create effective mentorship partnerships, we need to know more about you and your goals. WCT will make every effort to match you with a mentor, however based on availability not all applications are guaranteed a match.
You must be a current WCT member to participate in the program.
Here’s the process:

Attach an up-to-date résumé (Mandatory—preferred formats are .pdf or .docx)
